During the launch event, attended by Mostafa Salah, CEO, and Mahmoud Tammam, Vice Chairperson, the company also unveiled updates on its flagship residential project Grounds in New Cairo.

The Grounds development features a diverse mix of two- to four-bedroom apartments, with more than 80% of the site dedicated to green and open spaces, including a central park spanning 11 feddans. International planning firm EDSA has been appointed to design the masterplan.

Salah emphasized that the new headquarters reflects the company’s transition into a new phase of expansion, aiming to consolidate its position in Egypt’s real estate market through a pipeline of integrated communities.

He highlighted the success of the company’s Bridges project in Sheikh Zayed, which achieved EGP 1.5bn in sales within just two and a half months, underscoring strong demand for One of One’s developments.

The company stated that its strategy focuses on delivering integrated residential communities aligned with evolving market demand and modern planning standards.

The partnership began with a discussion session titled “How to Regain Our Ability to Read, Focus, and Think Deeply in the Age of Digital Distraction,” featuring novelist Ahmed Mourad. The session explored the effects of excessive smartphone usage on attention and cognitive skills, highlighting reading as a tool to strengthen focus and awareness.

As part of the initiative, One of One provided iRead platform subscriptions to Al-Nas Hospital, allowing patients and medical staff to access educational and cultural content.

The signing ceremony, held at the Town Hall of the Bridges project in Sheikh Zayed, brought together representatives from One of One and iRead, alongside public figures, publishers and cultural professionals, including Ambassador Diaa Hamad and writer-producer Hisham Soliman. The event underscored the importance of integrating reading into daily life.

Engy El-Sabban, Co-founder of iRead, said the partnership aligns with the platform’s broader mission to make reading a sustainable habit and strengthen cultural awareness. She highlighted the initiative’s focus on creating meaningful experiences with books, rather than simply increasing access, through interactive events with authors and content creators.

Ahmed Mourad emphasised the importance of cultivating regular reading practices in today’s fast-paced digital environment, describing the partnership as a means to combine human development with cultural engagement.

The collaboration reflects One of One’s strategy of embedding cultural and educational initiatives within its wider community activities, aiming to provide spaces that support learning, reflection, and critical thinking alongside its urban development projects.

Bridges, located on 10 feddans along the 26th of July Axis, is designed as a mixed-use business and commercial hub. The project features more than 200 retail units and restaurants, 250 medical clinics, 600 administrative offices, and a business hotel with full hospitality services, in addition to a health club.
Designed by Raef Fahmi Architects, Bridges combines modern aesthetics with functionality through open façades and efficient layouts that balance privacy, natural light, and accessibility.

Meanwhile, Grounds, set over 50 feddans in the Sixth Settlement, New Cairo, offers a mixed-use environment integrating residential units, flexible office spaces, and commercial facilities. Developed in collaboration with EDSA for master planning and Innovation Design Studio for architecture, the project embraces a biophilic and pedestrian-friendly approach that connects residents with nature while ensuring comfort and convenience.

The community will feature a social club, mosque, community centres, landscaped gardens, retail and dining areas, sports facilities, and technology-enabled security systems.

Commenting on the launch, Mostafa Salah, CEO of One of One, said the projects “reflect the company’s focus on integrated development that balances living, working, and leisure within sustainable, well-designed environments.”
